Tyler Boulter, M.D. joined Nashua Eye Associates in August 2022. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, LASIK, minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), diabetic eye exams, and routine eye care.

Dr. Boulter decided to pursue a career in ophthalmology as an undergraduate when he saw the impact that poor vision can have on a community while spending two years in Peru. He takes joy in and is committed to helping his patients achieve better vision and improved quality of life. He enjoys serving the southern New Hampshire community and plans to actively engage in medical outreach abroad.

He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin. During that time, he received extensive training in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma management and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Boulter was the first ophthalmology resident at the University of Wisconsin to be presented with the “Resident of the Year Award” as a first year resident. He was also selected to be chief resident during his time there. Dr. Boulter has over 10 peer-reviewed published manuscripts and strives to offer the best evidence-based care.

Dr. Boulter grew up in Orem, Utah where he met his wife, Jaynann, He attended Brigham Young University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Public Health. Dr. Boulter attended medical school at Texas A&M University and completed his transitional year internship at Riverside Community Hospital in California. Dr. Boulter loves being outdoors where he enjoys running, camping, road-tripping and spending time with his wife and four sons.
