Dr. Ron Coutu is a native of New Hampshire and has over 30 years of practice experience. Areas of clinical interest include medical optometry consisting of Ocular Surface Disease (dry eye and Meibomian Gland Disfunction), diabetes, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and specialty contact lens fitting (i.e., Multifocal, miniscleral, corneal reshaping therapy (CRT). Dr. Coutu also fits all standard contact lenses including daily and monthly astigmatic and non-astigmatic lenses. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the New Hampshire Optometric Association (NHOA). Dr. Coutu served on the NHOA Board of Director for over 14 years, holding positions as Treasurer and Chairman of the Healthy Eyes Healthy People 2020 Program.
Ron and his wife Patty are longtime motorcycle enthusiasts. They enjoy traveling throughout New England and beyond. Both have an appreciation for music and the arts, attending many live local events. Their outdoor interests include hiking, snowshoeing, and downhill skiing. As active as they are, there is always time to spend with family and friends.
