Nashua Eye is taking important measures for the health our patients, staff, and community.
We are currently only seeing patients for urgent and emergent visits. Non-emergent elective surgeries, including cataract surgery and laser vision correction, have been delayed. Routine eye exams and contact lens exams have been postponed. We will resume these services according to the guidance of the CDC, and state and local health agencies.
Our Milford and Hudson locations are temporarally closed. Our Nashua office is handling services for all locations. We are continuing to answer all your regular calls and MyNashuaEye patient portal queries. This includes, for example, prescriptons refills and scheduling future appointments.
Please do not hesitate to call with questions or concerns.
With the spread of the COVID-19, we are asking our patients to take the following precautions.
- If you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath AND have traveled out of the country in the last 14 days, OR have been in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you first contact your primary care physician for further instructions
- If you do not have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, BUT have traveled outside the country OR been in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date, for non-emergent eye conditions
- If you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, we ask that you seek care with your primary care physician and reschedule your appointment until you are feeling better, for non-emergent eye conditions
- If you have an urgent or emergent eye or vision problem and answered yes to any of the above, please call our office for further direction on setting up your appointment.
We will continue to monitor guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local health agencies, as it relates to COVID-19. Our practice is currently taking steps to reduce the exposure to COVID-19 by implementing protocols to pre-screen patients, increasing awareness for employees and providers on their health, and continuing our internal infection controls. During your visit you may be asked several times if you have symptoms or have traveled recently. Please be aware this is to protect you and our community, and we ask for your patience as we continue to provide excellent patient care.
