Crystalens for Cataracts

The Crystalens is a cataract implant that is accommodative. This unique feature provides after-cataract patients with clear distance vision without glasses, as well as a range of near vision without reading glasses.The implant best approximates the visual acuity and funtion of the young eye.

Nashua Eye Optical offers a large selection of high quality glasses, eyewear, and contact lenses with knowledgeable and courteous opticians. Nashua Eye Surgery Center is a fully accredited, out-patient surgery center dedicated to eye surgery.

Patients are served by Nashua Eye by three convenient locations in Nashua, Milford, and Hudson. The offices in Milford and Hudson were upgraded in 2007 to provide virtually all the same services provided in the main Nashua office. All three offices offer eye exams by ophthalmologists and optometrists, sophisticated diagnostic capabilities, and optical shops with a wide range of eyewear collections.

Nashua Eye takes pride in serving its patients with the most up to date technology. Nashua Eye surgeons were the first to use an after-cataract implant in New Hampshire, and the first to use diagnostic tests such as an auto-refractor and a cornea Orbscan. These practices are now standard of care around the country.

Refractive surgery is no exception to Nashua Eye’s efforts to stay on the cutting edge of technology. The refractive surgeons at Nashua Eye offer an array of procedures to match your vision challenges and needs. Nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism are treated by LASIK and PRK. Femtosecond LASIK, alternatively known as All-Laser LASIK and Bladeless LASIK, is available. Custom wavefront LASIK treatments provide excellent quality of vision.
